Wild Wadi – The Wildest Water Craze Found in Dubai

It’s wet and wild! Wild Wadi is the wildest water park ever. The overall theme of this park is inspired by Juha, a famous character of the Arabian folklore. The Wild Wadi water park boasts around 30 rides and has many crazy attractions. It is the only themed water park in the Emirates.

Wild Wadi is located in Jumeirah, about twenty minutes by car from the Dubai city center. Being an outdoor water park, Wild Wadi caters a variety of water slides, two artificial machines for surfing and wave pools. It has an amazing 18m high waterfall that goes off on every 10 minutes. It looks thrilling even when you look at others going for it!

When it comes to facilities, Wild Wadi also offers a couple of snack stands, three restaurants and there are also some nice gift shops for the souvenir lovers. The most popular rides at Wild Wadi are Jumeirah Sceirah, Master Blaster and Ring Rides. Hold on tight and hold your swimming suits tight when it comes to the ring rides and waterfall! Jumeirah Sceirah is a fast free fall water slide. It is the tallest monster slide here which rises up to thirty three meters. It pushes riders up at the high speed which makes it an awesome experience for all thrill-seekers.

Wild Wadi has eight Master Blaster slides that look like water roller coasters that go uphill. The riders have a choice to sit on single/double ring. There are also seven Ring Rides that look like gravity slides going downhill. The riders can sit in a single/double ring as well. To be on a safe side and enjoy Wild Wadi to the fullest you are advised to read the instructions before heading to any ride.

As for the working hours, the park is open on every day during the whole year from 11am. The closing hours differ depending on the month. In the winter months it closes at 6pm, while during spring and fall it closes its gates at 7pm. During season’s peak – summer, WW closes at 9pm. Every Thursday is a special day dedicated to women only. Wild Wadi is a fun place to visit if you are on a holiday with your friends or family. There is a no smoking oriented zone and 3 areas that are designed for smokers.
